We start by looking at the overall picture of your body alignment, how it moves and how one issue can lead to other pains and niggles arising elsewhere over time. All sessions include a postural and active movement analysis, followed by a tailored treatment using a combination of basic and advanced techniques such as: - Deep tissue massage - Neuromuscular technique - Fascial stretch techniques - Joint mobilisation - Myofascial Release You will also receive bespoke take home self-care advice, such as stretches and exercises, to contribute to the rehabilitation of the dysfunctional or injured areas and to help prevent issues from re-occurring. The techniques used will be based on when the massage is being received in relation to the timing of the event/competition: pre, inter or post-event. Sports massage can also be used to maintain the quality of soft tissues, and range of motion in between events and/or training sessions.
